Smoothbore Vizslas
We have been fortunate to have access to several well-bred, hard hunting Vizslas. All of our dogs are tested in the NAVHDA system, and a few are taken to the conformation ring. Our current dogs are detailed below.
Handsome and Handy too, Baron has been for us the epitome of what a truly dual Vizsla should be. With a work ethic that will not quit, and attitude to burn, he has been a joy to train and handle, and a blast to hunt over. In addition to excelling in NAVHDA (and giving us countless memories hunting) Baron earned his AKC show title in 2013 in 3 consecutive shows, and in his last show earned an additional 6 points towards a Grand Champion. Smoothbores Django Un Chained
VC Intl Ch Smoothbore's Wild Bill Hickock "Merlin" NA P1, UT P1
Merlin is from our first litter. He is a substantial, but not oversized, built dog. Merlin loves the water, in all of his UT tests to date he has consistently pulls off Prize 1 duck search work. Smoothbore Vizslas - the Boys
Django is from the Magic/Reggie litter born in April, 2021. He had a stellar first hunting season, with exposure to huns, pheasants, sharptail and ruffed grouse, and ducks. He learned a lot in 2021, and will be testing NA in June 2022.
