Our philosophy is the girls are fully capable and must be able to do everything we ask of the males. To that end our females have to be capable of achieving the NAVHDA Utility, and ideally Versatile Champion titles. This falls in line with the expectations that our dogs have the mental stability and strength to handle difficult situations and adapt to changing conditions.
Smoothbores Calamity Jane "Magic" NA P1 at 5 months old.
DOB March 18, 2016. Magic is from our first litter (Savvy-Baron). She is a lovely, moderately built dog. Magic has taken her moms place as my grouse dog, and has hunted woodcock, Hungarian partridge, pheasants, sharptail grouse, bobwhite quail, ducks and geese. Magics litter with Martinsens Mo River Reggie produced 7 boys. We are looking forward to what the next few years will bring.
